Genoa : “Let’s just go back for a moment to this slide. Remember, we talked about the Head Center and its idealism and the Ajna Center’s response. to that pressure, to create this “packet of connections,” so to speak, that with nature, and with the evolution of the world, and with our history within the world, and so on. And then it drops it to Gate 2.

The thing I want to point out is that it does not cross the Throat, it goes behind it, and that’s symbolic. It’s not like the Ajna Center saying, “Oh, this thing I’ve got going here, you want to talk about it?” No, this is a mechanism. It’s a mechanism of how The Ajna Center has created something. It’s created in response or in relationship to what it is that we have wanted to achieve in this lifetime. It’s a matrix of energy and connection, and it drops it directly into the G-Center on Gate 2, which magnetizes our experience to us. This little arrow going behind the Throat there is simply saying, symbolically, that I’m handing this over to the body. “I’m going to let the body live this life.”

We need to learn how our body works. We need to learn what it does. We need to see how it moves through experiences. Not in terms of what we think we should be doing, or who we should be, or whatever, but because the body knows how to live its life. It knows how to deal with these situations which we have called forth into our life. There’s nobody to blame for any of this. It’s just what we set in motion, and nothing that we say about it, so to speak, is really going to change the fact that we have the experiences we have. We’ve called them forth ourselves. Yes, of course, we finally dove into speaking about all of those people in our lives who rushed in through those Open Centers.

How painful many of those experiences have been. Yes, this is indeed conditioning, in a way. It is certainly experiences that we’ve had. Of course, it’s important to acknowledge that, yeah, a lot of that stuff did come from outside, for real, but no categorization of it, no name-calling, NO, “oh, that’s just my not-self.” “No, it was your father. No, it was your mother. No, it was your brother. No, it was some teacher you had, some priest you had, some minister you had; God knows who it is, the President, the Pope.” And nothing we say about that is going to make those experiences go away. That’s called our life history.

And one of the big things that we’ve been striving to do in this class is to connect what we have learned through those experiences to our Human Design and to the process of becoming aware of our Authority and its power and how it can help us navigate through experiences.

And that also gives us a foundational confidence in our being, on the basis of knowing that now we are learning increasingly how we make decisions, how we make effective decisions. First of all, that brings that conditioning to a halt, to whatever degree we’re able to do it. And we learn with time how to do it, how to be better at aligning with ourselves, aligning with how our body knows how to live the life that we have and make decisions about it.

That begins the process of self-empowerment, or it reinforces the process of self-empowerment. It also begins to unwind that conditioning, what some people might refer to as “The Karmic Knot,” those things that we needed to experience so that we could grow and develop not only our personality, or not only as a person, but also as a spirit being.

We have these experiences so that we can develop our character, we can improve, we can adopt new attitudes, we can transcend situations. So often people say “I’ve been into Human Design for quite a while now, and actually I have the same life, but for some reason it doesn’t bother me so much. In fact, I’m actually beginning to enjoy my life more and more,” which is, of course, what happens as we align with ourselves.

Let’s just dive in for a moment and take a look at this bodygraph here with the 11 Generator channels all accentuated and showing the reach of this Sacral Center throughout the bodygraph. What does it reach directly? And of course, all of these channels are based, or stem from, gates within the Sacral Center.

And so the Sacral Center contains the qualities of all of these channels, and particularly all of these gates through which those channels can arise. Each Center, as we talk about it, is like a hub, or a place of synthesis, where all of those impulses, all of those energies, for that particular channel, and that particular gate, get summarized, and it’s like a hub, or a wheel, through which we can begin the process of, first of all, understanding the Center as best as we can and developing our felt sense for it, but also realizing that it gets more and more detailed the more we find out about it.

So the Sacral Center adds all of these qualities together, so it has the power to wait. It isn’t that you have to wait, it’s that the Sacral Center has the Power to wait and to respond. And on the subject of response, it is always responding to everything, second by second. It is always responding. So the Strategy to respond can be a little bit confusing because you’re already responding.

You’re already connected. You’re already navigating through this life, and everything that happens, all of those qualities, of course you respond to it. So the Strategy might be better said that, to pay attention to your responses. which means: to value them, to respect them, to honor them, to realize how important they are.

The other thing is that if you think that you’re going to necessarily be aware of your response in your mind, that can lead to a lot of misunderstanding. Because the Sacral Center is its own mind. You can call it the mind of the biome, the mind of the gut feeling. This is an alternative brain that we have that knows how to navigate through the world.

And in fact, each one of those responses is like a tractor beam; if there’s any Trekkie fans here, it’s like a tractor beam, every response either draws you towards something or pushes you away; it’s like a gravitational force that is going on all the time, honoring that response, expecting that response, realizing that it’s the Center of Integrity. It’s the Center of the life force. So it has the power to wait and find the right place in the rhythm. It has the power to say “yes” to that which you can persist with and “no” to what you cannot persist with. It has the desire and the power to finish things.

It has the power to nurture and care and be altruistic. It has the power to reach out and to create intimacy with other people where it did not exist previously. It has the power to respond and see what is relevant within the world and to move with the flow, in the direction of what is really happening around you, which is significant in your experience. It has the power to retain its power until the right moment that the keeper of the keys appears, and Gate 14 empowers the magnetic monopole to find its direction in the world. It has the power to mutate and create new kinds of human beings. It has the power to stand up and to protect them. It has the power to individuate into a unique person.

All of those things are in the “Sacral Response”. And that Sacral response is like a gravitational force that pulls you in one direction or pushes you away from another direction. It’s a navigational instrument. And your mind gradually becomes aware of this. Your mind gradually aligns with it.

And this is the same for a Projector. Just as the Generator needs to honor their response, to respect it, to realize what it is, to develop that deep gut feeling for their own integrity, and their own need, and their own demand for full consent. The Projector is a master of appreciation, to appreciate other people, but most importantly to appreciate what it is that they have to offer other people, which is something quite miraculous, the ability to naturally notice details that escape other people, to be able to see the whole situation and to analyze it, to be able to help people at the given moment, but the seed of all that is the self-appreciation for all of those capacities that you have that are so vitally necessary for other people.

When you recognize it, and you appreciate it, they will recognize it and appreciate it — not everybody, but the people who are ready. And so, it’s about honoring your responses if you’re a Generator. Where is it taking you? Where is this Sacral Center taking you? Because it is definitely taking you somewhere.

Here’s the chart of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. You can see the throngs of people in the background here, hundreds of thousands of people. Here we can see the power in his Design to be charismatic, which is one of the great qualities of this Sacral Center, to stand up for itself, to stand up for life itself.

All of the decisions of the Sacral Center rest upon the respect for life and what life needs. It needs rhythm. It needs consistency. It needs to retain its power. It needs to empower other people. It needs to be altruistic, in this case, of Dr. King, to be empathetic and to stand up for the rights, not only of his own rights, but the rights of others.

In the Manifesting Generator Design, as I said last week, this Channel of Charisma is, in fact, the archetypal channel that characterizes the power of the Manifesting Generator design. It doesn’t matter what other channel may, as you can see over on the left hand side of this chart, may bring manifesting to the power of the Sacral Center.

Every configuration that may give rise to a Manifesting Generator Design carries this archetype of the power to be charismatic and powerful, to protect life, to uphold life. So whenever we look at the Manifesting Generator Design that has the Sacral Center, in particular as its Authority, its responses, we always need to look at where these responses are taking the person, because this is what it does. It’s like gravity. It draws you into a situation.

True of all Authorities. It’s particularly true of the Sacral Center. And when you’re considering the Centers and you go through the Centers one at a time and you come to the Sacral Center, it is an overwhelming sensation that says, “Oh my gosh, this is the origin of the concept of Authority itself. It’s the life force itself.” It’s what it means to be alive, and to make decisions that support the life force, and in the case of the Manifesting Generator, to defend the life force.

So if we take a look at each of these Designs here, we can begin to see the energetics of it, and the first one, of course, we see in Sandi’s chart. We see the Channel of Charisma itself. We also see the capacity of the Sacral Center to individuate as a unique being. We see the Channel of nurturing and caring and being altruistic. The power to take those risks and to say yes to those things which a person must finish if you take them on. And in addition to that, that the Ego also comes to the Throat, adding to that power of Manifestation. But it’s the power of the manifestation of the Sacral Center. And so that Sacral Center and its response takes you to engage with what it is that you need to engage with.

In Kathleen’s chart, we see it coming straight up through the middle, through the central column that Cheendana was referring to. This power to be empowered as an individual, to go in your own direction. Also to nurture the individuality of other people, and particularly to nurture and empower those people who are most vulnerable — those are the creative ones, those are the autistic ones, those are the ones who have special creative gifts, the freaky ones —to empower them to be freaky themselves, to go in their own direction. And also to nurture them as the Sacral Center connects over to the Spleen, the great nurturer, the caring force within us.

We see in Miriam’s chart, the energy coming up again through Gate 14, empowering the magnetic monopole and moving forward into the world, to listen and to hear other people, to bring their power to other people’s place in the world, to support them, and to connect. This is the fundamental thing about the Sacral Center. It is designed; it is the power to connect with other people.

And in this case, when it’s connected to the Throat, as it is in Jennifer’s, where you see it so clearly, but in all of these charts, we see it so clearly, that connecting that Generator Sacral energy to the Throat, brings this tremendous energy that is intended to come out into the world, to stand up for the life force, and to defend it, to follow one’s own convictions, to individuate as an individual person, to take the risks, that are necessary to bring truth and common sense to the world, to awaken to Higher Principles and to follow one’s convictions, to just be charismatic. The Sacral Center will respond to the opportunity to do this, to be charismatic, because that is what you’re designed to do, to empower, to be empowered through your own response, to know where you’re going and why you’re going there.

Deep within, and gradually the mind aligns with this, but if you’re waiting for your mind to tell you that you’re responding — that’s just not how it works. You respond and you go there. Because the Sacral Center takes you there, and then the mind is going “what, where am I going?”

And sometimes it can take up to ten years to realize that you’ve been on a track that has taken you to a very specific place. And again, this is true of all Designs, and all of their Authorities. This is what they do; is they take you to where you need to go. It’s a navigational instrument. It doesn’t figure things out. It’s like a compass. It’s like a tractor beam. It recognizes a reality that is part of your future, and it takes you there.

It’s all about surrender, and Ra Uru Hu spent many, many years trying to tell people not to trust their minds, because the mind can get all kinds of ideas,  about what it thinks it should be doing. And that’s what we call working at cross purposes to your Authority. And of course, we’re always doing some of this and some of that.

We’re increasing the degree to which we can be aligned with the energetics of the body-graph and allow ourselves to go where it’s taking us. And there’s all of the great ideas that we have, and that Manifesting Generators can be particularly vulnerable to these great ideas, because you can act so quickly. Just a cautionary note, you don’t want to skip over respecting those responses and what they’re telling you.

For one thing, they’re probably telling you that no matter how good an idea is, your Sacral Center knows whether it’s going to be able to be finish it or whether you can find yourself in some kind of a rainstorm of ball-bearings in the middle of a project because the energies weren’t there to begin with.

So now let’s turn our attention to the Solar Plexus Generator.

This can be quite a difficult thing to sort out on an intellectual level. We’re looking here at the chart of Albert Einstein. We see the Channel of Intimacy, which if we’re talking about archetypal things within a particular Design, this Channel that goes directly from the Sacral Center to the Solar Plexus is the Channel of Mating.

Otherwise, the life force wants to bond with the emotional process. And the emotional process is something extraordinarily powerful. It’s a little bit hard to believe, but the Solar Plexus is more powerful than the Sacral Center. It just is.

The wording of the original words for this particular Channel is the Design of Mating, to be connected with and to be in the wave, to go through the wave, to be part of the emotional process itself.

What it’s actually saying is that it wants the wave because the wave is how we develop as people. How we develop is by going through things, by being able to encompass relationships, to learn how to communicate, as we were just talking about. How do we communicate? We think we’ve been doing this for thousands of years, but all you need to do is read history to know we have not been doing well with communicating.

We’re just learning how to do this. And the Sacral Center is reaching out to the Solar Plexus to take it on a ride. And that ride says, “I’m going to connect in relationships, and I’m going to connect in all of the hopes and dreams, the ecstasy and the agony. I’m going to encompass this whole thing, and I’m going to be big enough inwardly, to encompass that and go through the necessary changes. To grow, to transcend oneself.”

And this Solar Plexus is not only a motor, but it’s waking up as an Awareness Center. This is the impulse to communicate. It is coming into our species right now, full-force. We can see the deficiencies everywhere we look, trust me; we can see the deficiencies in communication. We can see the deficiencies in being able to simply live as ourselves, to have our own reality, not to be making generalizations, not to be, living by some ideology, but to be living through our experience and to be able to speak for ourselves as unique beings, and be open to the unique beingness of the other.

(In this segment, Genoa is shifting between charts; please reference the video, where there are slides with a series of charts. We will use ** each time Genoa moves between the charts.)

So, as I was saying, the largest group of people, the largest divisional chart we have in our group of people here, are the Emotional Generators. And just look at this. In Juna’s chart, in Lasita’s chart, in Sandra’s chart, in Valerie’s chart, in David’s chart, in Gigi’s chart, all of them have the Channel of Intimacy.

What does this say? What does this say? It says that people are really interested in relationship, because it is so obvious that that is what is rewarding about life. It is so obvious that that is what is most challenging about life.

**In Anna’s chart, we go down to the Root Center, we can see that, then up through a channel to the Solar Plexus, and from the Solar Plexus to the Ego Center, all of which speaks about Community and being able to start over again and to be able to develop communities in a new way. All of this has to do with relationships — The most profound thing that we can do as human beings.

**And so if we zoom in for a moment back to Lasita’s chart, which we were looking at just a few moments ago. We can see, here’s this Channel of Mating. It’s a nickname, the Channel of Intimacy, which is to establish an intimacy between the life force itself and in relationship with other people, and sometimes to reproduce physically, to bond and create children, but also to bond in order to go through the process of maturing.

Solar Plexus is about growing up. It’s about maturing. It isn’t the same all the way through life. It changes and it develops. It matures … to the point where maturity becomes a superpower to maintain rapport, to support rapport, to pour one’s energy into creating rapport, to bond. And to grow, together in partnership and in connection with other people. Such a powerful thing!

And in our discussion about what is the most important thing that Strategy can do  — the push me, pull me of the whole thing. Oh, there’s so many aspects to Strategy. The first is to learn what your Authority is, how it works, what its dynamics are, what its priorities are. What’s it all about? Go in there and find out and develop that “felt sense” for what this Solar Plexus is.

And of course, this Sacral Center operates in the now. It’s responding all the time. It sees somebody and wants to make a connection with them. It goes, “Ah-ha, I’m going to connect.” But then the Solar Plexus says, “yes, but is there any potential in this relationship?”

It takes time. It says, “Is there growth? Is there any change? Are people respecting each other? Are we moving together through an evolutionary direction? Is the rapport building or is it disintegrating?” If it’s disintegrating, the Solar Plexus will disengage, which means it has the power to reverse the Response. Just think about it.

Of course. It says, “No, there’s much more to this than just connecting.” Just because the physical body wants to connect, it doesn’t mean that we know what we’re doing, or that the person that wants to connect with me has the communication skills that I really need in order to grow and develop. But it’s all about that rapport building, if possible.

And every conversation contains rapport building. And it also contains the loss of rapport, of course. It’s about conflict, and conflict resolution. It’s about loyalty. But mostly, are we getting through the conflict? Are we getting to the point where we are communicating?

**And this is a typical, or classic, we could say, split definition Design, where over here we have the Spleen, and hey, the splenic intuition is valuable in every situation, especially in that initial response that we’re talking about. But more than that, it’s connected to the Throat.

You can see this. It’s connected directly to the Throat, and the fact that this channel is black all the way through means that it’s totally aware, knows exactly what it wants to say, and it brings critical reasoning and logic to the other. In case you haven’t noticed, not that many people like logical, critical reasoning, especially when it’s delivered, uninvited. Yeah, it can cause a lot of trouble.

Here we have this whole prioritization thing that we’ve been talking about: 1) Solar Plexus. Yes, and okay, Sacral response as well; they go together. And 2) critical reasoning delivered to the Throat with a certain amount of insistence. Lasita was talking about all of these things.

It is simply realizing what comes first and who is setting the priorities. If the priority is relationship and growth and development and communication, okay, then you don’t give critical advice to other people, unbidden. First, you make the bond, you build the rapport, you get close, and then, with certain people, you can deliver real, critical advice, which clearly they know they need.

And you’re close enough to them to not totally lose rapport. So, in every one of these charts, we can see that the Intimacy stands first in each one of these Designs. And then we have, often we will see, a second element within the Design. Here we have the Intimacy, which is also connected down to the Root, very highly charged.

**But then we have this mental definition that goes to the Throat, very valuable insights, and so on. But it’s connected to the Throat, and the Throat makes noise. The Throat knows how to speak, it knows how to put itself out into the world. And again, it’s so important to realize what comes first. It’s the Solar Plexus, then it’s the Sacral Center, and then it’s the Ajna Center, and in particular, the Throat.

So one part of the Design speaks, puts itself out into the world, has something valuable to say, and becomes known for those valuable things that it says. But what about the intimacy? What about the depth? What about the relationship? What about the passions? So getting how things fall into order is the most important thing about learning to Live Your Design.

**We see this situation develop over and over again, and, it can get confusing. Where does the emphasis really go? Because here we are. We have a Solar Plexus Authority. Yes, it’s being energized from the Root. And it’s going up to the Ego. This is all about community and who’s doing their part, who’s not doing their part?And then it’s connected back to the Sacral Center. These things all work in order.

Solar Plexus comes first. We know what its criteria are. We know what its priorities are. It’s progress. “Are we developing? Are we moving forward? Yes, this is a new situation, and I very well may succeed in this new situation, but really, do we have the real desire?”

“Is that desire to communicate and break new ground, to do new things, to achieve things through our relationship? Is this actually a mutual desire? And is the other person willing to learn or to develop in that same process?” These are the things that the Channel of Intimacy in particular is interested in, but all Solar Plexus Channels are all about this developmental process and the standards that are involved in doing that.

**And then this triple split, we have a 1, 2, 3. Again, if we’re going in order and we know what the priorities are, we realize that the Design works. If we try to go out of order and we put emphasis on this extraordinary mind that we have up here and we put all of our emphasis there and we need to know all about it and we’re giving all that power and Authority to that mind. And we have this other part that’s deep within our being, but it’s quiet. It’s deep. It’s emotional. It needs to be in the situation where it can achieve the kind of connection that it really needs. And then everything else follows along after that. It’s just like a little train; it goes along and it goes in order.

**So we see this situation in Valerie’s chart as well, where there’s these different parts of the Design and they have a relationship; they have a conversation with each other. But the important thing to know, the important thing to always set as a priority, is that the Solar Plexus rules. It is the first priority.All the other priorities are great. Don’t we love them? And can’t we be distracted by them? Of course we can. And there’s nothing wrong with that. It’s not like you have to put it all in order. But boy does it work if you do. And are you going to do that all the time? Are you going to do that flawlessly? Probably not. Probably not. And so, it’s a work in progress. It’s always a work in progress.

It’s a matter of learning alignment. **And then we come to the Solar Plexus Authority Manifesting Generator, and we have Bob Dylan; this is moody, moody picture of him. I think I mentioned the first time we brought up Bob Dylan, if you want to see an example of a Manifesting Generator who seriously burns out.

In his, I believe it’s a two CD set, I don’t know whether you can stream it, I imagine you can, I think it’s at the end of the first of these CDs, where he’s totally, completely, utterly, painfully burned out. And it took him years and years to recover from this burnout. People say, he had a motorcycle accident. There’s other people who say, “nope, that was burnout.” And in the process of recovering from that burnout, he lost contact with the muse, not as a musician, but as a prophet. It’s tragic.

It isn’t doing things just because you can. It’s doing things because the Sacral Center, first of all, … Remember, in the MG design, even if it has a Solar Plexus Authority, it’s the Sacral Center that provides the energy — this extraordinary, mind-blowing energy that can come out of a Manifesting Generator.

These are the shakers and the movers of the world. The shakers and the movers of the world are not the Manifestors. The shakers and the movers of the world are Manifesting Generators. That’s where stuff gets done.

Manifestors are here in the world to change the course of history by doing totally unexpected things. Things that could never have existed or ever been done before by anyone except them. We’ll get to Manifestors soon enough.

I’m looking at the clock over here, running out of time, one more time. Oh, I don’t like that much. But such is life. Be that as it may. It’s this energy of the Sacral Center that drives the Design of the Manifesting Generator, and again, taking a look over to the left, you can see that this Design can be made in all kinds of ways. It can be made with the channel of Charisma going from the Sacral Center directly to the Throat. Or it can be made in other ways, as you can see in these patterns. But they all come back to the Sacral Center and its priorities to be in the life force, to emanate from the life force, to engage with other people, to engage with projects from the life-force in a life-sustaining way.

And then, the Solar Plexus says, “is this going anywhere? Are we moving? Are we developing? Are we being the people that we need to be?” And as Bob Dylan moved on in his career and he started exploring other kinds of music, people turned against him and they were extraordinarily cruel. And in that scene I’m talking about, In No Way Home, I believe it’s called, he’s just saying, “I think they’re gonna have to find somebody else who will be Bob Dylan. It’s not me. It’s not me.” And this is somebody who’s deeply loyal. and revolutionary, who wants to deal with conflict, but he got ahead of himself. This is the cautionary note that we hear over and over about being a Manifesting Generator. Gets tiring, actually, all of those cautionary notes. But it is important to listen to them, because the Design can get ahead of itself. Because it can, it will. But “is it sustaining of the life-force? Is it sustaining of my bonding? Am I gaining and developing the intimacy and the connections that I need with other people? Are they willing to go with me as I develop as a musician and as a prophet? Will they go with me?” He realized the answer was no.

It’s so sad! Years! And he says, he recites some of his songs and he says, “Who writes songs like that? Certainly not me!” And the interviewer says, You mean you couldn’t write that song? No, I couldn’t write that song. I think somebody else wrote it,” meaning: he was overshadowed, probably by an archangel. He was a prophet, and got broken. Poor boy.

**So, we have this Solar Plexus. Richard has spoken to us eloquently today about his Channel of Intimacy, which is the moving force behind so many people in this class, and what that really means — the bonding, the closeness, the ability to live out one’s convictions in an intimate bond with other people.

Yes, and we have the split definition here, hanging out below. It has the Channel of critical reasoning, Judgment. And we know how much people love critical reasoning, and to receive critical reasoning, right? Don’t we? Oh, there’s just so many people falling all over themselves for that experience.

With time you learn — the bonding is what comes first, the convictions, my personal convictions, and bringing my personal convictions, the ability to live out my deepest motivations, most intimate bonds with other people. This is the priority. And then to be able to go through what this Channel, one of the Channels of primary Manifestation brings to relationship, which is the ability to go through changes, big changes, really big changes. So we look at this Design and we say “yeah, it’s here to establish intimacy, but it’s also here to go through major big changes and to go through those changes with other people.”

Nothing wrong with that — To empower other people and to go through changes with them. So we see, in so many ways this Channel of Intimacy pop up, and then we see it reach the Throat in different ways. But the message is the same. First, to realize that the Response is important, but that the Solar Plexus is the ruler of the Design. That everything in the Design lines up and aligns with the Authority of that Design and its priorities. So whatever is happening in the Spleen needs to line up behind the Solar Plexus. And if the aligning gets done, and it gets done thoroughly, and, that “felt sense” of that Solar Plexus and what’s important to it, is respected deeply along with the response that wants to go through changes and to develop  and the Spleen comes along with it. The struggle and the ability to communicate comes along with it, and it’s all lined up behind those priorities of the Solar Plexus… Then, the whole Design works. We don’t need to talk about how it’s split into parts and one part will work and the other part won’t work, or something’s missing from you, or you feel like somebody needs to get out their repair kit and do something to you to make you work. That’s not how it works. The Design works. It’s designed to work.

The two parts of Self have a conversation, but in that conversation it becomes clear what part comes first, what’s the deepest part. And again, this can get quite complex. You really want somebody to work with you who can look at your Design and read your Design through this complexity.

Here we have the Solar Plexus communicating directly to the Throat. It needs to bring its mutative potential of Openness into the world. It’s here to further the potential of a new kind of society. And the truth is that — it’s to that, the Sacral responds. That’s what puts it in order. The clarity of mission, the clarity that says “I am here to bring a new kind of world into being through this Solar Plexus.”

And then the Sacral Center says, “Whoa, dude, I can really get into that. I respond to that. I throw my weight behind it.” Yeah, that’s how it works. That’s how it works. It all goes in order of the priorities of the Design.

So this is a matter of “felt sense.” We’ve gone through all of these Centers. We have a very strong sense for what each one of them are. Of course, that deepens with time; no doubt no doubt. But that all important thing that Strategy needs to be able to do, which is to go in order and to go directly to Authority, as the guiding principle of the whole Design. Not just the different parts of definition. The different parts of definition line up behind the Authority, and they fulfill its mission. But also, all the activations on Openness also align with the Authority, as well. Then, when those electromagnetic potentials get activated with other people. They’re doing so in the perspective of the Authority. What is the Design really doing? What is it for? What is its mission? Who is this person? And therefore, that Openness becomes the way that you can represent yourself to other people.

That’s what openness is for — it’s where you meet those other people and bring your Authority to bear upon that relationship.

We have gone through these Solar Plexus Authority Generators and Manifesting Generators. We’ve given some strong perspective to this and mapped out what it is that you need to do, in order to go to that “felt sense” for what the Authority is and how it aligns itself and how other parts of your Design align themselves with this Authority.

Next we’re going to go to our Solar Plexus Projected Authorities, our Solar Plexus Manifested Authorities, and then finally, to our Splenic Manifestors, and thank you Manifestors for being so patient. And last of all, to the Ego, and the Ego Projected Authority, and the Ego Manifested Authority, which we will do in our 10th class.

On Sunday, at noon, Mountain Daylight Time, we will be putting some real attention on both Channels and what they are, and how we experience them, how we experience them as people with Inner Authority, what they do, and how we work our way to sharing our Authority with other people, and how it works for Reflectors, who create Channels, and lots of them, most often, with other people.

And they start out with that relational part of Authority and how that works. and how transformative those relationships can be for other people, as well as themselves, and how they transport that experience inside of themselves. as they’re the result of their Design, a kind of transcendent identity. So we’ll be going over that on Sunday, coming up, and I’m looking forward to that.

I think that if I’m correct, according to my recording here, we have three or four more minutes, so maybe, just maybe, we can just go and ** take a look at the chart of Barack Obama. This is a single channel design. When Ra first presented the four Types to us in Taos, New Mexico, where he first came forth with the Types and with Authority, and he came to the Projector Design … I’m sure I’ve said this several times in this group before, he had his little very antique-looking overhead projector, and he would print on these transparencies and put them up so everybody could see. He had one channel in that Projector Design, and it was this channel, 41/30, the Design of Focused Energy, the need to start over, and the relationship with the fated connection with other people, another person or people. And it’s called the Channel of Recognition: the ability to recognize other people, but also to recognize oneself, because it’s based upon the recognition of other people, that other people can recognize us.

So we’ll pick it up there, because there are some very fascinating things to talk about as we come to this Solar Plexus Projected Authority. And just for a moment, let’s just, in parting, take a look at this little diagram here, where we realize all of these Channels that come from the Root, they’re all projected channels, they’re coming up to the Solar Plexus.

And then there’s one more Channel that goes from the Solar Plexus, starting with the Gate of Loyalty, going up to the Ego. This is about Community, and about knowing who is doing their part, who is holding up their end of the bargain, and who’s making an effort in that direction to provide for the least of these, to provide for people on the bottom of the socioeconomic ladder.

And how do we take care of everyone and go through the emotional process that it takes to understand what that is all about? So we’ll pick it up right there when we come back, next time.

We got going in a really special way this week with really looking at the people who have been in our lives. It took us several weeks to really get there, but boy, did we get there today. So let’s continue with looking at these people who invaded our space, who occupied important airtime in our lives, who oftentimes were the source of very deep challenges to us.

Let’s really talk about what we learned from those experiences. I had a writing teacher once, who assigned the assignment, write a thank you note to the person who traumatized you the most deeply, or made your life the most difficult. But she knew how to go for it, didn’t she? Write a thank you note for all of those things that you learned because of this person.

That kind of gets to the point where in this class, we’re teaching the Human Design from this perspective that says, “you have your life experience. You’ve been learning from your life experience your whole life. You are here in this class because you are waking up. There’s no other reason you would be here.”

Human Design is about Initiation, and expanding your consciousness — seeing life on a bigger screen, so to speak — not one of those tiny little radar screens they had. No, you’re expanding your view of reality. But it’s so important to connect your learning process that has been going on your whole life to do these exercises; we’re enhancing that process of taking a look at it. We realized with the exercise of writing about our family home and multiple people said “I started writing about my family home and I had no idea where it was going to go. Boy, did it go somewhere.” At this point, you realize you could write about anything and it will lead you directly to your awakening process.

That’s what we came here to do , to connect your life experience, your learning experience, your awakening process to the Human Design, and to be able to see how it’s working in your life in a unique way. We combine that – with that all important action of Strategy to go directly to your Authority. And put everything in perspective. That is a definition of what it means to Live Your Design.

We certainly don’t want to go through ten weeks of this without a firm sense of what it means to Live Your Design. This is what it means: You know how to make decisions as yourself. And the more you align with that, the more you Live Your Design, and that all takes place, and it must take place, on a “felt sense”, as it connects with your lifelong-learning, as a support of who you are, to empower you as you align more and more deeply with who you are and how you actually function. So with that, hey, we’ve done it, and I’m looking forward to seeing you on Sunday at noon, and we’ll go for our special class. It’s going to be really exciting. I really have been looking forward to talking about Reflectors for years now.
