Assignments for LYD Class 9
Please continue with your wild mind writing:
Consider making time for several 10-minute writing sessions. As always, the richest source of writing prompts can be your own previous explorations. As you read over your own work, you can circle various words, phrases or sentences and then jump in for another session from there.
Just as a reminder, there are documents about the Strategies of Projectors, Generators and Manifestors linked to the Class 9 student resource area. It is likely that something in these documents may spark a new wild mind writing session, or even a sequence of them.
However, it can be refreshing to use an entirely new prompt, and to receive a totally unanticipated outcome.
Prompts:
Sometimes it’s inevitable for you to speak up or define boundaries. What was your relationship like afterward? Please say more about that last phase of the process.
Our memories are most often anchored in certain places, like our family home or at events where other people were present. Certain events repeat: holidays, school classes, religious institutions or others. In some situations, the urge to assert your Authority might gradually increase until you needed to speak or take action. Alternatively, maybe you stayed silent or escaped. Please tell “the rest of the story.”
Notes:
Connecting your actions in relationship with challenges in your life makes an important and vital connection to your Authority as you speak about it in your own way and in your own words.
- Authenticity: Expressing yourself in your own way ensures that your narrative is authentic to who you are. It’s about owning your story, with all its imperfections and triumphs, which in turn fosters a sense of integrity and wholeness.
- Empowerment: When you connect your actions to the challenges you’ve faced, you recognize your agency in your life. This acknowledgment empowers you to take responsibility for your decisions and to see yourself as an active participant in shaping your destiny rather than a passive observer.
- Learning and Growth: Articulating your journey and the challenges you’ve overcome encourages reflection and introspection, which are key to personal growth. It allows you to examine your actions, learn from them, and apply these lessons to future challenges.
- Authority: By embracing and expressing your unique perspective and experiences, you establish yourself as an authority on your own life. This doesn’t mean you have all the answers but rather that you trust in your ability to navigate the complexities of life based on your values, experiences, and insights.
