Head Center - long version
What is implied by its location and shape in the body-graph?
The Head Center is the yellow, triangular shape pictured at the very top of the Body-graph. Its upward-pointing triangle is located in the head area, but its tip extends beyond the boundaries of the brain-case to connect with a vast cosmic perspective over all time. This Center symbolizes the connection between the individual human being and powerful forces driven by the cosmos itself, as it has evolved into the reality we know. It is focused on what is eternal within itself, encompassing its ideals and aspirations.
The Head Center is aware of its internal states of consciousness and its drive to evolve. We each carry this connection with evolution and self-improvement into this life as a belief in our future potential and a drive to improve our relations. Despite the mysterious origins of this hope within human beings, its existence is undeniable as a drive for education and enlightenment.
The Head Center is, therefore, a beacon that radiates from above, offering a thread of hope which is indestructible yet may appear to be battered, discouraged and nearly lost at times. This is a powerful subjective force, which is open, flexible and wishes to connect with the world for the opportunity to live out its inner truth. Thus, the Head Center represents the striving aspect inherent in every person for self-improvement, and reconciliation.
Tension arises when individual aspirations and a sense of purpose may seem lost. It lacks an understanding of the practical and worldly implications of its own intentions before they enter into the experiment of consciousness in form. This vision can seem vulnerable and might experience crushing disillusionment when it encounters the darker side of human experience.
The relentless Mental Pressure generated by the Head Center’s Mental Expectation drives the need to understand reality and find meaning, by placing pressure on the Ajna Center below to reach understanding of what is going on and fueling the operation of other Centers to fulfill its mission.
What is its timing and mode of operation?
The Head Center operates within a timeless and eternal context, with a focus on an individual’s aspirations held closely within their internal and aware being. This Center is at the core of a person’s awareness of themselves and their subjective reason for living, with its intentions at the center of their consciousness. This centralizing force of ideal intentions is called the “Personality Crystal of Consciousness.”
Its primary mode of operation is to fuel the activity of other Centers and to place them under the unrelenting pressure of mental expectation for Self-actualization. The Head stands in a powerful juxtaposition just above the Ajna Center, which plays a critical role in bringing the Head Center’s aspirational intentions to life. The pressure of the Head pushes through the Ajna Center forming a deep collaborative synergy, which is then pushed deeper into the bodygraph for implementation.
As life gets underway, the Head Center plays its role by demanding alertness and orients around higher principles and purges the organism of self-blame and internalized oppression. It also pressures logic with penetrating questions to keep it on course. Central to its whole process is its own mysterious sense of inner truth, which it knows it must express as its own individual way. In the end, it rejects distractions as hollow substitutes for its own inherent convictions—as they are tried in the fires of living and enter into a profound process of metamorphosis as a unique and original human being born anew.
Other notes:
The Head Center is focused on an individual’s internal aspirations and is the core of their awareness of themselves and subjective reason for living. Its primary mode of operation is to fuel the activity of other Centers, especially the Ajna Center, to actualize its vision. The Ajna Center plays a critical role in bringing the Head Center’s aspirational intentions to life.
The Head Center plays its role by demanding alertness and orients learning around higher principles, purging the organism of self-blame, and internalized oppression. Central to its whole process is its own mysterious sense of inner truth, which it must express in its own individual way. The Head Center evaluates views solely in terms of its own vision and personal truth. It sorts through a plethora of ideas to see what fits and what doesn’t, but it can also be uplifted by attitudes and worldviews that are more mature and advanced than its own.
The Head Center can improve its understanding of its internal aspirations through collaboration and integrating more evolved worldviews into its own vision. In the best of circumstances, it can leap to a higher level of integration where resistance lessens, and solutions to very real problems appear more easily.
What are most important things to know to be in touch with this Center?
The Head Center is a crucial aspect of a person’s being, as it is the Center of one’s ideals, goals, and envisioned outcomes. By getting in touch with our own aspirations in a healthy way, we can connect with the Head Center and stay close to our core intentions. However, as life becomes more complicated, it can be challenging to maintain direct contact with our source and ideals when faced with daily challenges. It is an important practice to remember.
The Head Center is designed to reorient our self-understanding within a context of learning and development and to purge negative attitudes. The Head Center is a fierce force of purification to overcome delusions and self-blame. It is vastly important to stay in touch with the original perspective that our worldly involvements show promise and lead to maturity, to accept and respect the life that we have, for it is filled with mysterious powers of recovery, and each challenge is designed to reveal our true being.
The Head Center pressures all aspects of our attention to comprehend the reasons behind the challenges we face. You may have a notion that if you could understand these reasons, that would be enough and all would be well. It is important to remember that by the time you are reading or hearing this, the Head is powerless to fulfill its own mission. It has it has surrendered your pure intentions to other capacities within the body-mind-matrix, which can take action upon them, and this is the way resolution and fulfillment can occur. To be in touch with the Head Center is to take the time to remember one’s original intentions for being and to surrender to the process.
What kind of information does it process?
Although the Head Center carries the impulse of idealism, it is important to remember that our goals are not necessarily glorious or monumental. The outer world might offer ideas that characterize outlandish ambitions and inflated sense of importance, but their appeal pales in comparison to the truth and authenticity of our existence.
The Head Center comes to this world to surrender to the process of living and the problem-solving capacities of nature and evolution. Thus, the Head impulse is most interested in your closest relationships and the resolution of conflicts and communication within them. It wants you to fully recover from the trauma of childhood or other difficulties that can overwhelm us.
It may seem like a contradiction that the Head Center, which is so focused upon idealism, would be so interested in mundane progress, but difficult situations draw the Head’s attention most poignantly. It holds the space for progress to take place. The Head Center plants the seeds of life’s most touching stories and pushes us to live them.
Most of the blockages that we encounter along the way result from our personal limitations, rigid thoughts, and attitudes. They have been locked in place through misunderstandings, which the Head purges with a kind of cosmic fire. The Head Center operates on the notion that when you give unconditional high regard and interact with empathy, we are likely to succeed at Self-actualization.
What are its perspectives, priorities and issues?
The Head Center’s priority is to remain alert to the nature of life and find meaning and significance in events. Its effulgent light and pressure are designed to operate in the background, and you can return to your origins in your meditation for renewal. During your life process, however, it largely focuses its pressure on purging you of delusions, internalized oppressions, and questioning everything in order that you can remain on track with the life you have set in motion.
Of course, central to this whole process is the pressure to be yourself and be true to yourself, but during your life process, these truths will ironically appear as difficult and challenging situations, which ask you all the right questions and you must answer through your words and actions. When you are successful at applying your idealistic intentions, they appear as revelations in real events and victories as you apply and live out your truths. This is the result of the miraculous wisdom of your body-mind and your deep wisdom to surrender to it.
When you fulfill your own mission, it appears as a surprise. You can and will demonstrate your truth as you confront the unknown and the unpredictable. These opportunities just appear in ways that are only comprehensible in retrospect, as a wonder of nature and thanksgiving. The full meaning of events appears as your saying and doing what must be done, all because of a mysterious process you set in motion, most likely before you were born.
The Center Narration: Synthesis of the above questions and answers:
The Head Center is located at the very top of the body-graph. It is connected to our aware Personality Consciousness and all of its idealism, imagination and hopes for the future. It is a Pressure Center, full to over-flowing with mental expectations that life will be valuable and will turn out well. It is the Center of Inspiration, which extends beyond the body into the heavens and fuels human aspirations. It is aware of idealized possibilities and pushes for their realization.
It is also open to the messages and quotations from the saints and holy literature, idealized relationships, and the ideal thoughts of other people, thus deriving support for its own goals and ambitions. In the end, however, it must give up all ideas inherited from outside sources, no matter how inspiring, in order to push for its own Inner Truth. By Design, the events of life make this surrender inevitable.
The Head Center can pressure only the Ajna Center below it, demanding that life make sense, and that the mind be purged of internalized oppressions, convolutions, and misinformation to get to its own best intentions and goals . It asks questions and demands answers. The Head Center wants the Ajna’s concepts to be clear and reflect reality, and to pay close attention while it winnows fact from fiction.
Most importantly, the Head Center refines its own sense of Inner Truth through what it must live out. To accomplish this goal, the Head Center must purge the Ajna Center of its belief in magical thinking and get down to business. It must also give up its own thralldom with other people’s ideas to focus on the details of its own Inner Truth and what it wants to live out. These pressures have all kinds of implications for conflict resolution, clearing the results of one’s own past actions (karma), improving relations and living out one’s life purpose.
The Head Center is, in fact, the aware mind. It comes to this study to answer many questions and to get more information about how interactions work and how the conundrums of life get solved. It does not fully suspect that it will discover something empowering beyond its wildest dreams through the Human Design System. It is, however, willing to fuel the mind’s surrender to higher powers within the body-mind, and leap towards its future–-come what may. This surrender is no small feat, but it is necessary.
Summary of the Head Center Narration:
The Head Center represents the link between individual human beings and the powerful forces of evolution driven by the Cosmos, serving as a beacon of hope and purpose throughout life. The Head Center is a vital aspect of every person, depicted as a yellow, triangular shape located at the top of the Body-graph, striving to connect with cosmic energy. However, at times, this vision may appear vulnerable and encounter crushing disillusionment, especially when confronted with the darker aspects of human experience. As life progresses, the Head Center must surrender and transfer its trust to deeper and wiser navigational forces. The Head Center’s focus is on the eternal and aspirational aspects of an individual’s being, serving as a link between human beings and the powerful forces of evolution. While aware of its internal states of consciousness, it lacks an understanding of the practical implications of its intentions. The Head Center collaborates with other Centers, especially the Ajna Center to actualize its vision. It can adopt more evolved worldviews freely, and through collaboration with others, as the life-path progresses, and through collaboration with other Centers, its impact is magnified.
A terse synopsis of the Head Center Narrative:
The Strategy of the Head Center is to adhere to its ideals and exert pressure on the entire body-mind system below. The pressure from the Head Center is very real, sparking curiosity about how life generates situations that demand cathartic actions. Consequently, the Head Center encounters a boomerang effect, where its intentions manifest as challenges. Therefore, the entire organism must find practical ways to embody its ideals through the overall design configuration and its inherent Authority.
The Head Center could never have foreseen any of this, as it was solely focused on its own ideals. Its pressure has fueled the operation of other Centers and set powerful forces in motion. Along the journey, the Head Center surrenders, often through humility in recognizing life’s capacity to purify and elevate living beings, bringing exhilarating surprises in unexpected ways beyond our expectations. These challenges manifest in both significant and minor ways every day. The solutions that the body-mind-matrix discovers are nothing less than an evolutionary miracle.
